Business Operations has an exciting opportunity available for a Process engineer to join its new Business Solutions Team. A challenging and versatile role in transforming processes to help deliver operational excellence to our customers and delivering value to the service.
Sitting at the heart of our directorate which now spans two councils in partnership, Business Operations are championing partnerships with other local councils and public sector organisations. As the service continues to grow, it becomes increasingly important that we are carefully monitoring and stretching our performance to be the best in what we do. As Process engineer, you will help drive the lean culture throughout the service by promoting operational excellence tools such as visual management and performance indicators.
You will be joining a proactive and results focussed service, where you will be given the opportunity to put your ideas into practice and make a measurable contribution to the development of its processes and service offerings.
You will have proven experience in process engineering, and be able to use a variety of tools and techniques to drive process improvements, and efficiencies. We’ll expect you to demonstrate an understanding of Lean methodology, and have strong stakeholder management tools.
